Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide product and software engineering leadership for the function by leading one or more scrum teams and own end to end implementation of solutions within schedule, budget and quality
• Establish and control code quality standards, development best practices, defect-free code delivery by providing technical oversight for Full stack development in Java/J2EE based enterprise grade applications
• Come up with long term architecture roadmap for the existing products
• Project Prioritization, Effective delegation, Manage and Support cross functional software engineering team
• Provide technology leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required
• Communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders including Engineering and Product leadership
• Participation in Design reviews, Solutioning, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
• Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.
• Closely work with Business Teams, Onshore partners, deployment and infrastructure teams

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years total product engineering experience with solid foundations on engineering architecture, design thinking with 3+ years of managing teams experience
• Good understanding of Development processes and tools - Sonar, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD
• Technical Expertise - Proficient in handling software application development team using modern technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring boot, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, RESTful APIs, SQL DB, DevOps
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills including written and verbal skills with the ability to create and maintain solid relationships with members of cross departmental teams
• Proven problem-solving skills and growth mindset
• Proven to build and lead effective teams
