Opportunity Overview:
Cohere Health is seeking an experienced Manager, Marketing Operations to serve as the operational backbone of our global marketing organization. This role is critical to ensuring our marketing team operates efficiently, collaboratively, and at scale.
You'll manage the systems, processes, and workflows that enable our teams to do their best work while maintaining operational excellence across the organization. This role helps ensure marketing projects are delivered on time with clear accountability and smooth handoffs. You will play a key role in ensuring the technology stack is integrated, automated, and optimized for team efficiency, and processes are well-documented and scalable.
This global role reports into VP, General Manager Cohere Health India, with dotted line reporting into the Vice President of Marketing in the US. You will collaborate closely with US-based leaders across Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Corporate Marketing to execute strategies into actionable results.
As a people manager, you'll lead a core team including an India-based digital marketer and designer, balancing the need for creative excellence with operational rigor and efficiency. You will be responsible for strategically balancing creative excellence and operational efficiency while supporting, developing, and empowering your team to deliver high-impact results for Cohere Health.
What you’ll do:
- Optimize marketing operations processes, ensuring scalability as the organization grows
- Partner with the US Director of Demand Generation to manage the marketing technology stack, including integration and automation across platforms, including Salesforce, HubSpot, AdRoll, Google, and other marketing systems
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures documentation for all marketing processes and workflows to ensure consistent execution across the organization
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes and implement solutions
- Establish and track marketing operations health metrics, such as workflow efficiency, system adoption, and data quality
- Enable clear performance visibility through strong data governance and scalable reporting frameworks, partnering with department leaders to drive evidence-based outcomes.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Manage and optimize our project management platform (Monday.com), serving as the team administrator and champion
- Design and implement workflows that facilitate smooth cross-team handoffs between marketing, sales, legal, product, and other departments
- Create scalable checklists, templates, and frameworks that teams can use consistently
- Coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder marketing initiatives from planning through execution
- Serve as the central point of coordination for marketing project timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a digital marketer and designer
- Coordinate with US-based marketing leadership on team workloads and deliverables
- Balance operational requirements with creative team needs, ensuring both efficiency and quality
- Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support professional growth
- Foster a collaborative team environment that values both process and creativity
- Advocate for your team's needs while driving accountability to organizational goals
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with marketing leadership to translate strategy into executable plans and processes
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations based on operational data and team feedback to improve team performance
- Support campaign planning and execution through operational excellence
- Act as a liaison between marketing and other departments to ensure alignment
What you’ll need:
Must-haves
- At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, with demonstrated people management experience
- Proven track record working in complex, cross-functional teams
- Hands-on expertise with marketing project management tools, such as Monday.com or Asana
- Understanding of CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and other tools.
- Familiarity with additional marketing concepts and tools, such as analytics platforms, ABM tools, or content management systems
- Experience in a marketing agency or large marketing organization within the technology or health tech sector
- Strong skills with performance reporting and handling data, especially using spreadsheets and dashboards
- Broad understanding of marketing team structures, roles, and processes across channels (digital, content, design, demand gen, product marketing, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance operational efficiency with creative team dynamics
- Experience with technology stack integrations, marketing automation workflows, and data governance

- Experience scaling marketing operations in a high-growth environment
- Process improvement or project management certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience working in a global organization
- Bachelor’s degree
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nacharam, Hyderabad, Telangana*: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
