Lead Software Engineer, ITC

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This role is part of the Tech Modernization team under Enterprise Architecture & Dev Platforms.

We are seeking an experienced AI and MLOps and DevOps Lead Engineer to lead the development and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning models in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient AI and ML pipelines, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our data engineering and science teams. This role is a key part of the Enterprise Architecture & Development Platforms team within Enterprise Platforms, where we drive transformative innovation to enable growth and build the essential tools that power our organizations success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and ML, DevOps, and software engineering, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern technical concepts, a meticulous eye for detail, and a strong commitment to data accuracy and insightful analysis. They should also be highly self-driven, exhibit exceptional communication skills, and work with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Lead the development and deployment of AI and ML models, LLM models, including data preparation, model training, and model serving at Production grade and scale.

• Design and implement scalable and efficient AI and ML pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and storage

• Collaborate with other platform teams and engineers to develop and deploy AI and ML models, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems

• Develop and maintain DevOps processes and tools to ensure the smooth operation of AI and ML pipelines, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI and ML models

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for AI and ML pipelines and processes

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and ML, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our organization

• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for data privacy, security, and ethics

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• 6+ years of experience in AI and ML, DevOps, and software engineering.

• Strong background in software engineering, and cloud-based(preferably AWS) AI/ML services.

• Must have expertise in MLOps and LLMOps to ensure efficient and scalable deployment and management of machine learning models and LLM models.

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, DVC(Data Version control)/model monitoring and versioning.

• Experience in MLOps tools like MLflow, In cloud like Sagemaker, Azure ML

• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Good to have experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP): Text preprocessing, tokenization, embeddings, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition (NER), anomaly detection

• Good Knowledge of computer science fundamentals

• Keen to explore new technologies.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
