- Lead end-to-end data integration initiatives using Advanced SQL: partner with business and system owners to understand data needs, model and transform data, develop scalable pipelines, and validate results for accuracy and completeness.
- Design and optimize complex SQL for transformation, reconciliation, and analytics use cases;
- Build and maintain reporting datasets and views to support self-service analytics and executive reporting; ensure data definitions and KPIs are consistently applied.
- Own project delivery: scope requirements, create technical designs, manage timelines, communicate risks, and deliver incremental value as a hands-on technical lead.
- Implement data quality controls and monitoring, including reconciliation checks, anomaly detection, and issue triage/resolution.
- Collaborate with adjacent teams (e.g., Finance, RevOps, HRIS) to understand upstream/downstream impacts and align on data contracts and SLAs.
- Document data models, transformation logic, and runbooks; contribute to standards and best practices for SQL development, reviews, and release management.
- Mentor junior team members, provide code reviews, and elevate team standards around SQL quality, performance, and reliability.
- Nice to have responsibilities : integrate with Snowflake, source/consume data from SFDC and Workday, and build dashboards or data products in Tableau.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Advanced SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures, and optimization for large datasets.
- Proven experience leading data integration and reporting projects end-to-end, working independently with minimal guidance and driving outcomes as a project lead.
- Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset, with solid documentation habits and change control discipline.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics, including designing datasets, building metrics, and enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fast learner who can quickly understand new tools and ecosystems and become productive with limited guidance.
- Nice to have: Experience with Snowflake, Salesforce (SFDC), Workday, and Tableau, plus sales compensation domain experience.
