About the RoleAs a key member of G2’s SEO team, you'll support initiatives that drives organic traffic. Working closely with SEO Specialists and Managers, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a full spectrum of SEO activities—ranging from keyword research to technical optimization. This role requires solid technical understanding of how search engines crawl, index, render, and rank pages, complemented by strong project management and communication skills
You’ll have the opportunity to develop professionally, navigate a high-traffic website with a large page inventory, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including technical SEOs, content marketers, and link builders.
In this role you will:-Maintain weekly SEO reporting and monthly keyword tracking, and support standard team processes
Assist in brainstorming and executing high-impact “big bet” SEO projects for the domain
Contribute to keyword strategy and optimization of G2 blog content
Support A/B SEO testing efforts, more specifically planning, implementation, and performance measurement
Collaborate cross-functionally with content, link-building, and product teams to identify growth opportunities
Contribute to LLM optimization and testing across the G2 domain
1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results
Proficiency in keyword research, mapping, and competitive SEO analysis
Demonstrated ability to analyze SEO data and generate reports in Excel or Google Sheets
Experience communicating SEO insights and performance to stakeholders
Technical SEO skills including auditing, crawl and index understanding, and schema markup implementation
Familiarity with on‑page optimization and traffic analytics tools
Excellent project‑management and time‑management abilities
Comfort with extracting data and insights from a wide range of analytics platforms
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
