Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java.
• Hands on experience on Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask).
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.
• Integrate applications with databases (SQL and NoSQL), messaging queues, and third-party APIs.
• Participate in phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with different teams to manage product development and integration.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across Java / Python codebases.
• Work with product managers / architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Technical Skills:
• 2-3 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java (OOP, Collections, Multithreading, JVM).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in Python using Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Ability to write automation scripts, schedulers, and background tasks.
• Understanding of Python packaging and virtual environments (pip, virtualenv, Poetry).
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker and Containerisation principles would be good.
• Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
• Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and security best practices.
