- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for data integration use cases involving IBM ITX.
- Interpret and map HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets (e.g., 270/271, 837, 835, 999) to system data models and ITX transformations.
- Work closely with solution architects to define interface specifications, source-to-target mappings, and validation rules.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Data Mapping Specs, and interface control documents (ICDs).
- Support ITX developers in translating business requirements into technical design artifacts and testable maps.

- 8+ years of experience as a Technical or Integration Business Analyst
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA X12 EDI transaction sets
- Experience working with or supporting IBM ITX (Transformation Extender) projects
- Ability to understand and document source-to-target data mappings
- Proficiency in analyzing flat files, XML, JSON, and CSV formats
- Hands-on experience with data flow diagrams, interface specs, and business rules
- Experience in Medicaid, MMIS, or healthcare systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence
- Experience with API-based integrations, SFTP transfers, and middleware technologies
- Understanding of integration architecture (e.g., ESB, message queues)
- Experience working alongside ITX developers, architects, and QA engineers
- Knowledge of data validation tools, encryption/security standards, and compliance requirements
