QA & Testing - Lead Analyst

As a QA Lead Analyst – AI Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team transforming healthcare and improving the lives of millions of members. This role blends backend engineering, system integration, and AI development, with a strong emphasis on quality assurance and reliability. You will help build and validate AI-powered solutions for automated document processing and intelligent customer service bots.
This position is ideal for experienced engineers with a background in backend or data engineering who are transitioning into AI development and want to lead quality assurance efforts across AI-enabled systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA strategy and execution for AI-driven backend applications and services.
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for APIs and AI components using Python-based tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate and validate AI models within backend workflows.
- Ensure robust system integration across cloud and on-prem platforms, focusing on data integrity and transaction reliability.
- Manage failure handling, validation, and retry mechanisms to ensure system resilience.
- Support cloud infrastructure operations, preferably within AWS environments.
- Contribute to the adoption and testing of AI tools such as Langchain, LangGraph, and Agentic.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of experience in backend development, data engineering, or QA engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, and Pydantic.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test suites for APIs and backend services.
- Solid understanding of system integration, transaction management, and error handling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI development tools and frameworks (Langchain, LangGraph, Agentic is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Education and Training Required:
Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Location & Hours of Work
- Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.
- Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
