About this Opportunity
Head of Deployment (Central) with accountability of Business, Execution and Governance for customer account. You will be driving execution excellence, customer engagement, strategic planning, and operational performance across telecom circles. The role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of deployment targets, proactive risk management & resource optimisation, automation initiatives, and strong collaboration between Ericsson and customer central and circle teams.
What You will• Lead the central deployment function for the customer account, ensuring delivery of commitments across circles• Serve as the primary interface with customer Central Deployment and Circle CTO organizations, building strong customer relationships while managing high-pressure delivery commitments.• Leader with entrepreneurial and commercial thinking - responsible for end-to-end business comprising of ongoing engagements as well as identification of new opportunities.• Collaboration with large teams of professional employees or programmes with accountability for the performance and results of the team• Accountable for financial performance of projects - Revenue, Margins, management of projects and financials in Global Chronos• Establish effective governance with customer Central Team, Circle CTOs, Ericsson Circle Teams, and Central Functions to ensure seamless rollout execution.• Responsible for defining the Network contract execution strategy and associated risk exposure for existing projects and new opportunities • Support the Program CFR to analyse legal impacts including E+OHS and Security issues associated with the engagement• Provide strategic guidance to circles on customer communications, deployment priorities, and execution strategies.• Drive automation initiatives that improve deployment visibility, governance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational productivity.• Drive short- and long-term deployment planning, ensuring alignment of rollout forecasts, material availability, purchase orders (POs), and Material requirement Plans with customer requirements.• Manage contract changes and/or amendments during the entire contract lifecycle concerning the specific opportunity• Lead cross-functional improvement programs across all circles, including ASP Quality Improvement, Deployment Dashboards, OHS Audits, RSA, and other strategic initiatives.• Ensure timely acceptance and closure of all deployment project activities by driving execution discipline and close coordination with customer and internal stakeholders.• Monitor key deployment KPIs, identify performance improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to enhance rollout efficiency and quality.• Foster a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement across the deployment organization.

You will Bring
- Candidate should have knowledge about Ericsson Network Operations business, rollout processes (XLPM, NRO, NDT), stakeholders (Customer, CU, Market Area Service Lines, Managed Services, Supply, Sourcing, external partners) in the ecosystem. Knowledge of product portfolio is an advantage.
- Should be capable of playing the role of Program manager for his/her deliveries, with ability to contribute to pre-sales activities as well.
- Compliance to company's objectives - Project governance, XLPM cycle, Cost controls, Productivity, Planning, Lead time, Target Zero, CPPM controls.
- Inclination towards Digitalization ambition of Ericsson and the unit - use of Ericsson tools, automations, identification of opportunities for efficiencies.
- Mandatory soft skills - Effective verbal and written communication, people leadership abilities in a matrix work environment with reporting of senior team members, decision making abilities, assertiveness.
