TECHNOLOGY ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
KKR’s Technology team is responsible for building and supporting the firm’s technological foundation including a globally distributed infrastructure, information security, and the application and data platforms. The team drives a culture of technology excellence across the firm through efficient workflow automation, democratization of data through modern data and collaboration platforms, and more recently through research and development of Generative AI based tools and services. Technology is regarded as a key business enabler at KKR and is an important accelerator to drive towards global scale creation and business process transformation. The Technology team consists of highly technical and business-centric technologists with the ability to form strong partnerships across all of our businesses. A dedicated Program Management function along with the Product Managers drive execution discipline across multiple technology teams with a goal to consistently deliver excellence serving our business needs.
POSITION SUMMARY
Data Analyst in HR technology team, working closely with Data Engineering and People Analytics team to drive the business by empowering HR, Recruiting, and business leaders to incorporate people insights into workforce and business decisions. We are operating in a 4 day in office, 1 day flexible work arrangement.
KEY RESPOSNSIBLITIES:
- HR/People analytics experience: Demonstrated experience working with HR data in Workday, Greenhouse and other systems (e.g., engagement surveys, retention, turnover, performance, recognition, DEI, or other people-related metrics) and applying analytics in organizational or workplace contexts.
- Analytical / Technical: Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Collaboration skills: Comfort working with cross-functional teams and clients, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
- Quality focus: Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, polished work to executive-level audiences.
- Applied HR/people data analysis: Conducting analyses on workforce or HR datasets that influenced talent, culture, or organizational decisions.
- Visualization & reporting: Developing dashboards, reports, or visualizations that simplified complex people data for business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and associated documentation from Core HR (Workday), Applicant system (Greenhouse) and other HR systems.
QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Experience in SQL, Python & Snowflake tools. Responsible for Ingestion of data from Workday and other data sources to Snowflake. Experience in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics a must.
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts and an understanding of how to apply these methods to solve real-world business problems and leveraging AI to drive operational efficiencies
- 4+ years of data analysis, quantitative/qualitative research, experience gathering and evaluating data
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL or relational database, data modeling, and advanced querying, Python & Snowflake
- Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics)
- 1+ years of dashboard development using advanced Tableau functionality (e.g. data blending)
- 3+ years of SQL and data pipeline development and automation experience
- 3+ years of experience with Python or R and developing solutions that scale
