Global Senior Web Solution Architect

As a technical leader in the web architecture field, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and supporting technology assets to ensure our strategic web technologies platform meets existing and future business needs. Your focus will be on creating efficient, scalable, and secure web systems that align with our organization’s business goals and technological requirements.
What are we looking for?

Acquia Cloud Site Factory Expertise: You have at least and Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience working within the Acquia Cloud Site Factory and hold most or all Drupal certifications. You aspire to remain or become a world-class expert in this field.

Drupal Development: With 7+ years of Drupal development experience, you’re well-versed in creating and maintaining Drupal-based solutions.

Headless Architecture: You’ve worked with Drupal Headless architecture for at least 5 years, understanding its benefits and implementation.

ReactJS Development: You have 3+ years of experience in ReactJS development, contributing to modern web applications.

Web Architecture Mastery: With 7+ years of web architecture experience, you’re adept at designing robust, scalable, and high-performance web systems.

Mobile Architecture (Nice to Have): Familiarity with mobile architecture is a plus.

Advanced JavaScript Frameworks (Nice to Have): Exposure to other frameworks like AngularJS, VueJS, or NextJS is appreciated.

Consumer-Facing and Commerce Websites: You’ve designed, developed, tested, or supported consumer-facing and commerce websites extensively.

Agile Collaboration: You can collaborate effectively in a virtual and global product team, following Agile methodologies.

Digital Marketing and Integration Knowledge: Any experience with digital marketing, integration with enterprise systems (such as CDP, SFMC, Where-To-Buy, Ratings and Review, Digital Asset Management), or Web3 is highly valued.
What will be your key responsibilities?

Business-Driven Solutions: Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions, considering factors like performance, scalability, security, and usability.

Technical Leadership: Guide development teams in making informed architecture and design decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure effective execution of the technical vision.

Drupal Expertise: Architect different Drupal types (traditional, headless, or hybrid) based on business needs. Define and design Drupal installation profiles and modules.

React Design: Create high-level architectures for React-based applications, ensuring seamless interaction between components and data flow.

System Blueprint: Define the high-level system architecture, including components, databases, APIs, and integrations. Communicate this design through clear diagrams to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technology Recommendations: Based on project requirements and industry best practices, recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for building the web solution.

Scalability and Security: Prioritize system scalability and responsiveness. Make decisions on load balancing, caching, and database optimization. Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.

Code Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain alignment with architectural guidelines and coding best practices.

Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, fostering their technical growth and promoting knowledge sharing within the development team.

Problem Solving: Provide expert guidance and propose effective solutions when challenges arise during development.

Business Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architectural decisions support business objectives.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on web development trends and maintain expertise.

Project Oversight: Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure the architectural vision is realized throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaboration: Work closely with enterprise architecture, information security, and other teams to produce optimal designs.

Strategic Planning: Participate in shaping work programs and strategic orientations.
