About this Opportunity:
We are looking for an FPGA Designer to join the Ericsson Silicon organization. You will work with a group of dedicated engineers passionate about developing world-class Radio and RAN Compute products. You will play a key role in the FPGA team-developing and integrating complex systems for high-efficiency data transfer and processing with embedded subsystems. As part of our global organization, you'll collaborate with talented teams across our various sites. What you will do:- Assist in defining low level design specification and implementation strategies for FPGA products.- Design, implement IP/RTL modules for FPGA SOC by perform synthesis, simulation, and timing analysis.- Analyse simulation results, debug issues, and collaborate with verification team for resolution.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, tools, and processes.- Follow and contribute to the team's best practices, processes, and documentation standard.
The skills you bring:- 3 to 5 years of experience in FPGA/Digital design.- Knowledge of FPGA architecture, digital design fundamentals and timing.- Working experience in FPGA tools (Vivado or Quartus or Radiant)- Proficiency in SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL.- Ability to understand, reuse existing code effectively and/or write reusable, module level and well documented code.- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, shell scripting, etc.- Familiarity in version control GIT.- A problem-solving attitude, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn and contribute.- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills- Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Nice to have:- Exposure with FPGA boards, communication protocols or DSP.- Knowledge of Wireless/5G IP/SOC design.
