As an Experience Design Associate on the Design System Team, you will support the enterprise design system for the Private Bank by creating and maintaining scalable, accessible design solutions. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to evolve patterns, components, and guidelines that drive consistency across products. You will communicate design rationale and recommendations clearly to help teams adopt and apply the system effectively.
Job Responsibilities- Support in the definition and curation of shared design and experiences across all our digital products
- Partner with designers and developers to apply and evolve our design patterns Develop thinking through wireframes, visual studies, motion studies, prototypes
- Write, maintain, and improve UX documentation
- Maintain the related Figma libraries by fixing bugs, and enhancing existing components and patterns
- Design new components and patterns for the library that align with our toolkit
- Present and communicate work and recommendations to the larger design organization
- Ensure our design patterns maintain the highest of quality standards
- Build relationships with other design leads and key stakeholders to drive adoption of design patterns Identify opportunities to increase the consistency of our customer experience
- Contribute to high performing teams through the development of self and others, emphasizing continuous learning and growth
- Articulating design rationale persuasively in both verbal and written communications Influence others and provide thought leadership on design Research and look for opportunities to solve problems in unusual and innovative ways
- Advocate for Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Degree in relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of enterprise, system-level or design systems experience
- Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
- Demonstrated experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches
- Prior work involves collaboration within design teams (with other designers, UX researchers, and content designers) and cross-functionally with software engineers
- Demonstrates strong Interaction Design and Visual/UI skills
- Proficiency in adjacent skills such as Information Architecture, User Research, UX Writing, and Prototyping
- Able to show how their understanding of technical constraints and opportunities informed design solutions; familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices
