Weave is seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers in building and enhancing our payments platform. This platform empowers our customers to seamlessly accept payments from their clients. What You Will Own

Build a World-Class Payments Platform: Lead the team in scaling and enhancing our payments product into a cutting-edge platform.

Team Leadership: Mentor and grow a team of engineers, supporting their technical and professional development.

Customer-Centric Solutions: Foster a customer-first mindset and deliver incremental value.

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with other teams to define technical roadmaps and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Drive Excellence: Implement development best practices, ensuring scalable, redundant services on GCP, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of software development, distributed systems, and web-scale infrastructure to guide the team.

Full-Stack Ownership: Oversee both backend and frontend development, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust systems.
What you will need to accomplish the job

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

8+ years of experience in engineering, including technical and organizational leadership.

Expertise in distributed systems and scalable service design.

Strong database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL).

Proficiency with backend languages like Go, Python, Java, or C# or similar

Operational knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes).
