BitGo is looking for an Senior Engineering Manager - Trade who will join our team in Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for growing BitGo’s core competency of increasing the amount of digital assets we Custody.
- Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same.
- Provide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department
- Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the team’s work
- Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services
- Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example
- Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
- Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks
- Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client first approach.
- Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.
Skills & Experience:

Required:
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Experience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same.
- Experience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager.
- Track record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent.
- Proven success leading engineering-wide initiatives.
- Demonstrated history of collaborating with product to come up with a product roadmap.
