Job Summary
This job entails monitoring network security, identifying and responding to threats, and maintaining a robust understanding of cyber security challenges. The role supports incident resolution, conducts risk assessments, and contributes to the development of security solutions. It requires collaboration with internal teams, continuous learning, and participation in after-action reviews to enhance security protocols.
Job Description
Responsibilities:

• Monitoring network security events, analyzing alerts for potential and active threats, and restoring environments post-incident
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to fulfill service requests and maintain security service effectiveness
• Maintaining knowledge of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics to inform defense strategies
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks and develop remediation solutions
• Assisting in security audits and risk analysis, contributing to network forensics and enhancing penetration testing capabilities
• Providing technical support during incidents, documenting findings, and contributing to after-action reviews to refine response processes
• Engaging in continuous learning to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity technologies and best practices
• Supporting the evaluation and implementation of security configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
