We are looking for an outstanding Employee Relations Partner with a passion for delivering solutions for employees and leaders, while contributing to our team culture. You'll be joining the People Team at a very exciting time as we continue to grow and scale our business.
This ER Partner will be responsible for providing employee relations support for North America, including resolving employee concerns and supporting people leaders in navigating complex employee issues. This is a great opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting environment.
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with change and the ambiguity that sometimes comes with it. You are enthusiastic, flexible in your approach and open to learning. You have strong coaching muscles, while leading with empathy and balance.
What you'll do

  • Advise and coach managers on navigating complex employment issues.
  • Work with managers to address and manage complicated performance management scenarios
  • Lead workplace investigations into high-risk concerns and employee grievances. Partner with managers to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to global Employee Relations projects.
  • You will work with managers and employees across Atlassian's businesses in North America, with a primary focus on our Engineering and G&A business in the United States.
  • In order to support the business you will work US business hours.


Your background

  • You have significant Employee Relations experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ER practices, including investigations and performance management.
  • Expertise in employment laws and regulations, ideally with experience with the employment framework in the United States.
  • Skills in identifying problems and using fact-based analysis to develop efficient solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex recommendations clearly and concisely.
