About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist, social media in Bengaluru, India to join our global digital marketing team reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, Digital and Operations. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role responsible for owning and scaling our social media presence.
The role combines organic social ownership with growing paid social capability, requiring both creative excellence and performance-driven thinking. You will be responsible for end-to-end social media management from execution, optimization, to reporting.
This role will play a key part in driving brand awareness, engagement, and demand generation, while partnering closely with global stakeholders to ensure alignment across campaigns and messaging.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Certifications in social media marketing or paid platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads) are highly desirable
- Commitment to continuous learning in social and digital trends
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Ownership
- Own and manage global organic social media channels, primarily LinkedIn and some Meta
- Execute a structured social media strategy aligned to business and campaign objectives
- Build and maintain a forward-looking content calendar across campaigns, events, and key initiatives
Content & Creative Execution
- Work with content writer and creative lead to create and/or edit high-quality and engaging social content (copy + visual direction) aligned with brand guidelines
- Continuously test and refine messaging, formats, and creative approaches to improve engagement
Paid Social (Build & Scale Capability)
- Support the development and execution of paid social campaigns
- Assist in audience targeting, budget allocation, testing, and performance optimisation
Execution & Channel Management
- Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, publishing , and audience engagement across platforms, including responding to comments, messages, and queries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of all social content
- Use tools such as Hootsuite for efficient workflow management
Performance & Optimisation
- Take a metric-driven approach to monitor and analyse social media performance using platform analytics and reporting tools to identify trends and opportunities.
- Generate actionable insights to optimise content, campaigns, and audience engagement, continuously improving reach, engagement, CTR, and conversions.
- Track key KPIs, ensuring data informs strategic decisions and drives measurable business outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with creative, global & regional marketing, content, and campaign teams to align messaging and execution
- Work with regional stakeholders to localise and optimise content where required
- Support integrated campaign rollouts across multiple channels
Content Monitoring & Amplification
- Identify opportunities to amplify existing content (webinars, blogs, thought leadership) via social
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and platform updates
- Maintain and update internal content repositories (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint
Qualifications & Experience:
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing (organic + some paid exposure)
- Proven experience managing LinkedIn as a primary B2B channel
- Strong content creation skills with an eye for design, messaging, and storytelling
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience using tools such as Notion (or similar) to manage content calendars, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite or similar)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize content and campaigns
- Strong communication and English proficiency, with proven stakeholder management experience in cross-functional, global environments.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with accountability for ensuring accuracy and quality across all deliverables prior to deployment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver work on schedule.
Highly Desirable
- Familiarity with paid social platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads) and campaign fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), with the ability to connect social activity to website performance, user behavior, and conversion outcomes
- Experience working with global teams and managing multi-region campaigns across English and non-English markets
- Exposure to additional platforms such as Microsoft Ads and Meta, with opportunities to expand capability
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research industries, with an understanding of regulatory requirements and complex B2B decision-making cycles
