Digital Backend Dev Senior Software Development Engineer 1

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or higher engineering degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent additional professional experience.
2. Hands-on experience in delivering solutions based on Java and open-source technologies as an engineer in global organizations.
3. Hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher, spring, Spring batch, MongoDB or PostgreSQL, microservices architecture, Reactive programming, Redis (caching), Angular (GUI), and Cloud computing.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Excellent data structures & algorithms skills with exposure to digital transformation and digital technologies
2. Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate, build relationships, and support in achieving broader organizational goals.
3. Good exposure to working with large enterprise-grade components
4. Good experience and understanding of working in an agile environment
5. Good understanding of DevOps processes (CI/CD pipeline)
6. Self-starter, who can take initiative and get things done with minimal guidance.
7. Prior experience in the Banking or financing domain is a plus but not necessary.

What you will do

1. Use your deep technical understanding to contribution to the architectural design for the product.
2. Contributing to defining the product roadmap and supporting end-to-end delivery of product releases & communication with different stakeholders
3. Build software products for banking and financing institutions with R&D teams that are openly collaborative, are non-hierarchical, respect contributions, and work with agility
4. Enable, empower, and encourage teams for continuous improvement of technology and processes
5. Challenging and supporting people and engineering practices to improve the quality of product
6. Supporting governance of product team to ensure quality and efficiency of solutions
7. Act as a mentor to the team and reinforce organizational values and culture

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years
