In this role within the Comcast Business Information Technology (BIT) organization, you will work closely with product owners, architects, and engineers to support the delivery of business initiatives. You will contribute to building a secure, reliable, and scalable ecosystem while learning enterprise application development practices.
ServiceNow Platform Development
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will support the development and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions primarily across ITSM, CMDB, and related modules, while building foundational platform expertise.
ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, TSOM Development

• Assist in developing and maintaining solutions on ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB platforms.
• Support workflows related to incident, request, problem, and change management.
• Participate in data migration, data cleanup, and data validation activities.

Enterprise Integration

• Support development and maintenance of integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
• Assist in building basic automation workflows and scripts for operational support.
• Contribute to Day 2 support activities including monitoring and issue tracking.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field
• 0-2 years of experience in software development, IT systems, or related areas
• Basic understanding of programming concepts (JavaScript preferred)
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and web technologies (basic level)
• Exposure to ServiceNow platform (academic, internship, or project experience preferred)
• Awareness of ITSM concepts (incident, request, change management) is a plus

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - (in progress or planned)

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in development and customization of ServiceNow applications under guidance.
• Support configuration of modules, workflows, business rules, and client scripts.
• Perform bug fixes, minor enhancements, and routine development tasks.
• Assist with testing, defect resolution, and validation of application changes.
• Support integration efforts by working on basic API connections and data exchange tasks.
• Participate in data imports, cleanup, and migration activities using platform tools.

• Support development, testing, and production support tasks across Service Portal, dashboards, and monitoring.

• Assist with documentation, runbooks, defect fixes, and basic automation under guidance from senior engineers.

• Basic awareness of secure coding, secrets handling, and safe testing practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate application functionality against requirements.
• Follow established coding standards, processes, and development practices.
• Proactively learn platform capabilities, tools, and engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrate reliability, consistency, and willingness to take feedback and improve.
• Escalate issues or blockers to senior team members when needed.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance; support flexible schedules when required.
