Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to support data platform scalability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data services and pipelines using Python, ensuring performance and maintainability.
- Manage containerised workloads using Kubernetes, optimising for resource efficiency and uptime.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins to automate deployment and testing.
- Work with AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, EC2 to support data storage, access control, and compute needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform integration and data accessibility.
- Monitor and remediate software vulnerabilities using tools like Wiz or Snyk.
- Document infrastructure, workflows, and operational procedures for transparency and auditability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
- - Python for scripting and data engineering.
- - Terraform and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
- - AWS services including S3, IAM, Lambda, EC2.
- - CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Exposure to software security and remediation tools like Wiz or Snyk.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting or working with R language in data workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Exposure to Generative AI products via AWS or Azure.
