Develop and maintain PL/SQL components and complex SQL queries, translate SAS programs to SQL, tune database performance, support ETL and data migrations (batch and real-time), participate in code reviews and deployments, produce technical documentation, and troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis.
3-4 years of experience in design and develop PL/SQL components such as stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and PL/SQL programs for performance and maintainability. • Analyze SAS programs and translate them into SQL Queries. • Perform SQL tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and optimizer hints to improve performance. • Collaborate with application developers, QA, and business analysts to ensure correct data access and integrity. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities for database changes. • Support ETL processes and contribute to data migrations and integrations (batch and real-time). • Create and maintain technical documentation, database diagrams, and deployment scripts. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes and root-cause analyses.
