We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead a team of data engineers in building scalable, reliable, and high-performing data platforms. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership, driving data solutions that enable business decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers
  • Drive team delivery, performance, and career development
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture
• Data Platform & Pipeline Ownership
  • Oversee design and development of scalable data pipelines using Python and Azure
  • Ensure robust data ingestion, processing, and transformation frameworks
  • Drive standardization and best practices across pipelines
• Architecture & Design
  • Define and govern data architecture and platform strategy
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards
  • Guide adoption of modern data technologies and frameworks
• Azure & Cloud Engineering
  • Lead implementation of solutions using Azure services:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure SQL / Data Lake
  • Optimize cloud usage for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
• Data Modeling & Governance
  • Oversee development of data models for analytics and BI
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
  • Define and enforce data contracts and validation rules
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent in related field
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Python, Azure, CI/CD, and deployment
