Data Engineer

Job Overview:
Designing, building and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of Google Cloud Platform data and analytics services in combination with technologies like Spark, Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions and Airflow.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successfully designing and implementing interfaces and technologies
- Utilizes development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.
- Work on building data model for the document management tools
- Enhance existing application code to meet operational needs
- Understand the Business NFR's and implement the solution as per requirements
- ·Write technical documentation
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with deployment of microservice architecture on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform.
- · Knowledge of data architecture modelling tools, techniques and processes, and an awareness of relevant industry techniques
- · Extensive knowledge of data warehousing designs, conceptual and logical data models, data visualization, and flowcharts.
- · Experience leading and managing complex projects in data related contexts, proven analytical, problem solving and design skills
- · The ability to understand, visualize, and componentize large and complex problems
