As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the application lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that solutions are effectively implemented. The position demands proactive communication and problem-solving to maintain smooth progress and alignment with project goals, while serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the integration of new features and enhancements to ensure seamless functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText ECM Tools.
- Strong knowledge of application design and configuration within enterprise content management environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to content management systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices in custom software engineering.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in OpenText ECM Tools.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
