Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality, while continuously overseeing the progress and quality of deliverables. The engineer actively drives innovation and problem-solving efforts to meet project goals and client expectations, fostering a collaborative environment that supports efficient and effective software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to support their professional growth.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- Strong experience in developing and customizing cloud-based applications using SAP ABAP Cloud environment.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software solutions tailored to business requirements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP applications with other enterprise systems.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and optimizing SAP ABAP Cloud applications.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Cloud.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
