Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. You will spend time analyzing requirements and contributing to the design of tailored software solutions that align with organizational goals. Your role includes continuous interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure that the applications developed effectively support business processes. You will also engage in problem-solving activities to refine application functionality and enhance user experience, ensuring that the software meets the evolving demands of the business environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices in software design and development.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in UKG Pro.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and application design principles.
- Experience in requirement analysis and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues to maintain application performance.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in UKG Pro.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
