Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of custom applications. This role requires taking ownership of the application lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the project requirements. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration to align technical efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges to deliver high-quality software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Strong knowledge of database design and SQL programming.
- Experience in application lifecycle management and version control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within applications.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance application interfaces.
- Understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
