Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of each project and creatively developing solutions that integrate seamlessly within the existing environment. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications not only meet but also enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development, from initial design to final deployment and ongoing support.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Maintain and update existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document technical specifications and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS.
- Strong knowledge of spatial data management and geographic information system concepts.
- Experience in customizing and extending GIS applications to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS software and applications.
- Familiarity with integrating GIS solutions with other enterprise systems and databases.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ESRI ArcGIS.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
