As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, then translating those needs into detailed application designs. The role includes working on defining precise requirements and contributing to the architectural planning of software solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires continuous interaction with various teams to ensure that the applications developed effectively support business processes and meet the intended objectives. The engineer actively participates in refining workflows and enhancing system functionalities to deliver robust and scalable software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies within projects.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth of junior team members.

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Compensation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience with application design principles and software development lifecycle processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
