Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The workday is often spent collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals, while continuously refining and enhancing the software to improve overall functionality and user experience. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through complex application environments to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of application configurations and customizations.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Compensation.
- Strong understanding of application design and configuration principles within enterprise software environments.
- Experience in customizing and integrating compensation modules to align with business processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices for packaged application development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core Compensation.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A WD Certification and hands on core compensation experience is required.
