As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. The workday is often a blend of creative problem-solving, collaboration with team members, and iterative development to ensure the applications align with business goals and provide seamless user experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Continuously improve application performance and user experience through iterative testing and feedback.
- Document design specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Absence Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday US Time Tracking.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and configuration best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.
- Experience in integrating applications with existing business processes and systems.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday US Absence Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
