Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing effective solutions to meet those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each part functions seamlessly within the overall system. Additionally, the position requires ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing applications to improve performance and address any issues. Collaboration with different stakeholders and adapting to evolving project demands are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering continuous improvement and innovation in software delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices that enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with junior professionals to support their learning and integration into project tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Apache Airflow, PySpark.
- Strong capability in designing and optimizing data pipelines within cloud-based environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to data analytics platforms.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformation and integration tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with collaborative development tools and version control systems to support team-based projects.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
