Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing configuration and support activities across COTS laboratory systems such as Samplemanager Labware ProLIMS from Instem LabCup chemical inventory Veeva Quality one Vault Nautilus LIMS sciformation GmbH IDBS ELN, with mandatory hands-on experience in one or more of these technologies. The role involves solution oversight, issue resolution, team coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure stable and compliant lab operations. Experience working with chemical industry customers or a chemical education background is an added advantage.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable software components using modern programming languages.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with integration of software modules and third-party tools to enhance system capabilities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
