Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing solutions that align with those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each part functions seamlessly within the overall system. Additionally, the position requires ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing applications to improve performance and address any issues. Collaboration with different teams and adapting to evolving project demands are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering continuous improvement and innovation in software delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software components with client requirements.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear records of development activities.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and best practices.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development environments.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
