Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – SAP FI to lead full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep functional expertise, strong delivery acumen, and the ability to lead teams and influence business stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) implementations, from discovery to go-live and support.
Act as a Finance Solution Architect and Delivery Lead for global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
Lead business engagement activities – requirement gathering, solution design, process harmonization, and blueprinting workshops with CXOs and senior stakeholders.
Design and deliver best-practice-driven finance solutions covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and India Localization (GST, TDS).
Oversee integration with other modules: CO, MM, SD, PS, Treasury, and third-party systems.
Guide and manage a team of SAP FI consultants, ensuring delivery quality, mentoring, and technical escalation resolution.
Drive adherence to SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Hybrid project frameworks.
Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, and internal control requirements across financial processes.
Support pre-sales, RFP responses, effort estimations, and project planning activities when required.
Stay updated on SAP innovations including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Fiori, Central Finance, Group Reporting, and drive adoption.
Contribute to practice building, competency development, and knowledge management within the SAP Finance community.
Professional & Technical Skills:
12–18 years of total experience, with minimum 8–10 years in SAP FI, including at least 2–3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
Proven expertise in SAP FI modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, and Indian tax compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
Strong hands-on and architectural experience in S/4HANA Finance innovations, Universal Journal, and Fiori.
Exposure to or working knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN), SAP Group Reporting, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an advantage.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders.
Experience in people leadership, managing teams of consultants and cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.
SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.
