Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures seamless integration of components within the application environment, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application design and development activities to meet project goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.
- Strong knowledge of application configuration and customization within Veeva Vault environments.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application development.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software engineering tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Veeva Vault.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
