As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems that may span the entire product lifecycle or focus on specific stages. The role requires applying a broad understanding of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. Daily activities include collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and contribute to the overall success of the project. This position demands adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving within dynamic work environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and organizational standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microservices and Light Weight Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience in developing scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and version control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Java.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
