Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that the applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing insights and recommendations to enhance application performance and user experience.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools for seamless application connectivity.
- Configure FICA-related functionalities, including contract account groups, payment terms, installment plans, and dunning parameters.
- Perform custom enhancements, user exits, and ABAP debugging to resolve system issues and optimize functionality.
- Develop or support the development of ABAP reports, interfaces, and workflow solutions to support FICA processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration points for IDocs, BAPIs, Web Services, and middleware solutions (PI/PO, CPI).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to FICA payment processing, account postings, account reconciliation, and related integrations.
- Implement and maintain interface solutions with external systems, including payment gateways, bank interfaces, and third-party collection services.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
