Role Responsibilities - Lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows for measurable impact. Actively engage in the development, testing, deployment, operation, monitoring and refinement of data services
Manage incidents/problems, apply fixes and resolve systematic issues triage issues with stakeholders and identify and implement solutions to restore productivity Risk Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements perform controls adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance)Accountabilities Build relationships and collaborate with BPB teams to ensure delivery of activities and programs of work are aligned to the overall B&PB DNA Strategy. Role Knowledge & Technical Competencies The engineering gurus we seek are - Strong grasp of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks. Ability to align AI capabilities with business objectives while ensuring scalability, responsible use, and tangible value realization.
Minimum 1-2+ years experience in the same or similar role, with tertiary qualification in Computer Science or equivalent. Use critical thinking, network, skills, knowledge of available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank

The skills you bring with you:
Experience with design build and implementation experience on Data Engineering pipelines using SQL, Python , Airflow, Databricks (or Snowflake)
Experience with data solutions in Cloud (preferably with AWS) as well as on-premises assets like Oracle
Demonstrated capability with the development of and performance-tuning skills for RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift etc) databases
