Overview We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Developer to join our Integration team. The candidate will design, develop, test, deploy and support API-led integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, operations and other application teams to enable seamless data flow across applications and systems. Key Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders and other technical teams to analyse integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs. Design integration solutions using MuleSoft best-practices: define API layers, data models, transformations, error handling, routing, reconciling and monitoring. Develop and configure MuleSoft applications using AnyPoint Studio, Mule runtime, Anypoint connectors, flows, sub-flows, DataWeave transformations, error-handling and logging. Participate in unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, deployment into development, test and production environments. Provide ongoing maintenance and support of integration solutions: troubleshooting production incidents, root-cause analysis, applying fixes/patches, and monitoring system health. Create and maintain technical documentation (design documents, interface specs, API documentation, operational run-books) and ensure adherence to architecture/guidance. careers-test.capgemini.com+1 Promote reuse of integration assets (connectors, templates, patterns), enforce governance, best practices and oversee versioning, naming conventions, security policies, and performance guardrails. Technical Expertise & Skills Essential skills: Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (AnyPoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Anypoint MQ, CloudHub/On-Premises). Proficient with DataWeave for data mapping/transformation between JSON, XML, CSV, etc. Good understanding of integration patterns (request/reply, publish/subscribe, scatter-gather, orchestration), ESB concepts and SOA/microservices architecture. Working knowledge of Java (or other object-oriented programming) and scripting as needed. Familiar with DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven) and deployment pipelines for integration solutions. Experience in cloud deployment/integration (CloudHub, hybrid, connectors to SaaS/legacy systems). Strong debugging, performance-tuning, error-handling and logging skills in a production integration environment. Desirable skills: Certification in MuleSoft (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer) Experience with message-queueing technologies (JMS, MQ), event-driven architectures Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, build tools and agile tools Experience working with large scale enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, legacy mainframes, SaaS applications) Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills Professional Experience Typically 3-5 years or more of professional experience in integration development at least 2+ years working specifically with MuleSoft is desirable. Proven record of designing and delivering multiple end-to-end integration/API projects using MuleSoft in a business environment. Experience working in delivery teams, interacting with business analysts, architects, QA, operations and stakeholders. Comfortable handling full lifecycle of integration solutions: requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, support/maintenance. Exposure to global or multi-geography projects (optional but advantageous) and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
