Summary: The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of software applications. You will also engage in problem-solving discussions, providing insights and expertise to enhance project outcomes and drive efficiency in processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends - Create and maintain data models using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications - Connect and integrate data from various sources (AWS Athena, AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Oracle) - Transform and clean data to ensure accuracy and consistency - Develop and optimize DAX calculations and measures - Implement row-level security and data governance practices - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, performance, and visualization - Regularly update and optimize dashboards to ensure performance and relevance to business goals - Stay current with the latest Power BI features and best practices - Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service - Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and database design principles - Solid understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS - Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query - Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation - Knowledge of data visualization best practices - Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights. - Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. - Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts. - Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand business needs. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
