Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and guiding your team through the development process. You will also be responsible for addressing any challenges that arise, ensuring that the project remains on track and aligned with organizational goals. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a productive environment where team members can thrive and contribute effectively to the project. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Scrum Master Core Competencies - Strong understanding of Scrum framework and Agile principles (Scrum Guide, Agile Manifesto) - Facilitation of core ceremonies: - Daily Stand-ups - Sprint Planning - Sprint Reviews - Sprint Retrospectives - Ability to coach teams on Agile best practices - Experience in working with multiple squads/pods (cross-pod coordination) - Cross-Pod Dependency Management - Identifying, tracking, and managing inter-team dependencies - Maintaining dependency boards (e.g., via JIRA Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence, Miro) - Synchronizing sprint plans with other pods to avoid blockers or misalignment - Driving resolution of external dependencies early in the sprint cycle Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Avanade Scrum Project Management. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
