Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the application meets the required specifications. Collaboration and leadership are key elements throughout the day, as the engineer guides the team and manages project priorities effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Strong knowledge of application design and configuration within the Pega environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to software applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Skilled in analyzing requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our KDC1A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
