As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders, ensuring that application solutions meet business needs. The position demands proactive engagement in planning and coordinating tasks to deliver high-quality software products while collaborating with various teams to align technical efforts with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of software components by managing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and application configuration.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues within enterprise environments.
- Ability to customize and extend ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data management within ServiceNow platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
