Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project requirements, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to understand application demands, refining system configurations, and overseeing the development lifecycle to deliver robust and efficient software solutions that support business operations effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and ETL processes.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable data workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts.
- Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
