More specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks. Provide guidance/ advice of remediation activities and oversee implementation for timely remediation.
• Ensure timely registration/escalation of Asset Management issues/findings. Ensure that issues/findings are appropriately mapped to risks and controls.
• Execute and maintain Maturity Assessment of the area.
• Build partnership and collaboration with the different areas involved in risk management across the organization e.g.: technical teams.
• Collaborate with the testers/auditors during audits and exams by coordinating and facilitating the Asset Management process through evidence collection and appropriate documentation of existing processes.
• Manage key strategic initiatives relating to IT Asset Management.
• Manage and coach team members and ability to influence others to achieve risk management goals.

Required Skills:

(Experience: 5+ years managing teams, 5+ years in IT Asset Management and ITSM roles within technology organizations):

• Ability to develop reports for management on KPIs to improve the process effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy.
• Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted between CMDB, discovery information, and other authoritative production data repositories.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting key CMDB tasks:
• Works with the Systems Engineering and Service Delivery Teams gathering technical and functional information.
• Communicate CMDB activities to Technical teams to enhance general awareness of processes and standards.
• Elaborate documentation about the technical designs of services and systems
• Demonstrated understanding of ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
• Advanced excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).
• Ability to manage multiple, ongoing initiatives.
• Ability to drive execution of goals through effective planning, prioritization, resource management and follow through.
• Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
• Pro-active approach to problem solving, with experience in identifying areas of improvement, determining, and implementing solution.
• Knowledge of IT business infrastructure elements (storage, virtual/cloud platform, network and security, operating systems, databases)
• Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish.
