Join our Pension Implementation Team!You'll configure our internal software solution, and analyze and resolve common issues our clients experience following implementation. While you'll receive guidance from implementation managers when needed, you'll have the autonomy to establish priorities and tackle problems independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
To thrive in this role, you'll need to excel at managing problem resolution by providing clear explanations of issues and charting a path to their resolution. You'll bring strong skills in technology, communication, and problem-solving—the trifecta that makes you an invaluable partner to our clients and team.
What you'll do:
- Perform detailed analysis of our clients' pension plan calculation rules
- Act as the link between the client and the project team in terms of pension plan calculations
- Configure our software to suit the specifics of the client's pension plan
- Write specifications according to the needs and requests of the clients regarding new developments of the software
- Ensure the proper integration of the software with other software that will be implemented for the client
- Participate in the development of the specific testing strategy for the software configuration and new developments
- Participate in the review of test scenarios with the selection criteria required by the plan
- Provide support to the quality assurance team
- Collaborate in the development of the software by providing suggestions for improvement to the responsible team
What you bring:
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an appropriate field
- Experience in pension plans calculations
- Ability to understand and use current computer technologies and a good knowledge of Excel software
- Recognized, among other things, for analytical and summarizing skills, sense of organization and flexibility in terms of managing multiple projects
- Good initiative and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both as a team and independently
- Ability to establish priorities and meet timelines
- Available to travel occasionally (Canada, US)
