JOB PURPOSE:
As a SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in SAP technologies to design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions on the SAP BTP. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BTP services, architecture, and integration capabilities to address complex business requirements and optimize system performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and sustainable solutions on the SAP BTP
- Define the technical architecture, considering factors such as security, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
Development and Customization:
- Utilize SAP BTP development tools and programming languages (such as SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, Java, JavaScript, and others) to develop and customize applications, extensions, and integrations.
- Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Integration and Data Management:
- Configure and implement integrations between SAP BTP services and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
- Manage data models, data pipelines, and data transformations to support business processes and analytics.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, analysts, and business users, to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives
- Share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BTP solutions
- Provide training/knowledge sharing session to support teams BTP-related processes.
A key responsibility, in addition to the above, will be to ensure quality and timely deliverables from the vendor partner teams.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Appx 15 years of proven experience as an SAP S/4 Technical SME or similar role and at-least for 2 SAP S/4 implementation (including Brownfield upgrade) with experience in BTP
- Extensive experience in SAP technologies, with a focus on SAP BTP (formerly SAP Cloud Platform)
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
- Experience with SAP BTP services, including but not limited to SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Intelligence
- Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills and requirement gathering, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- SAP certifications related to S4 technical skills.
