As a Associate Software Engineer you will play a crucial role in the success of our company by contributing to, as well as driving, high-quality releases and value-delivery to our customers. By following and evangelizing quality standards, as well as overall SDLC processes as they relate to quality, you will be able to affect meaningful change in the organization and help drive our culture to a quality and customer-first mentality.You'll Get To:
- Software Development: Design, write, and maintain clean, efficient, and testable code in Python and/or Java.
- Algorithmic Problem Solving: Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms (DSA) to optimize application performance, scalability, and code quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, and DevOps) to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and deliver high-quality features.
- System Maintenance: Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing codebase and microservices.
What You'll Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 – 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Core Programming: Strong, hands-on programming experience in either Python (Django, Flask, FastApi) or Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
- Computer Science Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core Data Structures (Arrays, Linked Lists, Trees, Graphs, Hash Maps) and Algorithms (Sorting, Searching, Dynamic Programming).
- Databases: Basic familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
- Tools: Experience with version control systems, primarily Git
